* Highway 1, also called the Overseas Highway, is the only
road connecting all the islands together and connecting the
islands to the mainland.  Because everything is either to the
right or to the left of the Highway, we call one side
'Oceanside' and the other 'Bayside' or 'Gulf side' with the
exception of the island of Key West because it is at the end
of the string of islands.  Most of the time when we describe
where something is, we say Mile Marker and the number.  
Mile Marker 0 ends the numbering and is in Key West.
